Dr. med Ivan Nenchev

Dr. Ivan Nenchev is a psychiatrist and psychotherapist at Charité – Universitätsmedizin Berlin, where he combines clinical work with research at the intersection of psychiatry, linguistics, and artificial intelligence. Since 2022, he has been a fellow in the Berlin Institute of Health’s Digital Clinician Scientist Program, and since 2024 he has led the Research Group on Language and Natural Language Processing in Psychiatry. His work explores how language can serve as a diagnostic and therapeutic interface in mental health care, with a particular focus on empathy, communication, and machine-assisted clinical practice. Alongside his medical and scientific work, he curates Art Brut exhibitions, reflecting his ongoing interest in the intersections of psychiatry, artistic expression, and alternative modes of perception. He lives and works in Berlin.

kennedy+swan

kennedy+swan is the collaborative practice of artists Bianca Kennedy and Swan Collective, founded in 2013. Their work explores the future of non-human intelligence and its impact on plants, animals, machines, and humans. Through video, VR, and AR installations, they construct speculative scenarios that challenge human-centered perspectives and examine the ecological and ethical implications of biotechnology and artificial intelligence. Their works combine drawing, stereoscopic film, 3D-scanned landscapes, and digitally generated characters into hybrid visual environments. Recent projects address the exponential rise of AI and its entanglement with biological systems. kennedy+swan have exhibited internationally, including at the Lyon Biennial, Gropius Bau Berlin, Kunstmuseum Stuttgart, and the Sundance Film Festival. They were awarded the BIFOLD/Schering Scholarship in 2025 and are based in Berlin.
